My Sketching Story
I’ve been sketching people since childhood, filling pages with colourful drawings inspired by the characters and fashions around me. For me, it was never just about likeness — it was about capturing energy, style, and spirit.
That instinct has stayed with me. From early life-drawing classes to sketching people on the move, I learned to work quickly and playfully, always with an eye for personality.
Today, I bring that same energy to weddings and events — creating vibrant portraits of your guests that feel alive, personal, and unforgettable.
Where it all began…
Long before live events, I was constantly drawing — filling pages with colourful characters, expressive faces and imaginative scenes. Even then, I was fascinated by individuality, movement and style. Those early sketches laid the foundation for the work I create today.
From Sketchbooks to Live Events
Years of drawing in public, under pressure and in fast-moving environments sharpened both my speed and my eye. Working live taught me how to quickly capture not just likeness, but energy, presence and atmosphere — transforming fleeting moments into artwork people connect with instantly.
Today, as Woody Is Drawing, I create live illustrations for weddings, luxury events, retail activations and private celebrations. My work combines fashion illustration, performance and guest experience — giving people more than a portrait, but a stylish keepsake created in front of them.
